Terri Dwyer - About




Terri made the decision to return to acting late 2011 and debuted at the award winning Finbrough Theatre in December of the same year, playing a demanding role in a psychological thriller called ‘Through the Night’. Carolin Kopplin, in her review remarked “this play was perfectly cast and brilliantly unsettling”. The challenging role only fuelled Terri’s passion to tread the board once again.

Terri is an English actress who joined the cast of the long running soap opera, Hollyoaks as Ruth Osbourne and was projected into our living rooms three nights a week.

Currently a regular on ‘This Morning’, Terri reviews the newspapers talking topical issues and strands (which are mini series within the programme). Her most recent strand, TV Stars First, was her own idea which she also presented. This has been received extremely well by both the show and the viewers.

Terri filmed three series of the ever-popular ITV1 daytime hit show, 60 Minute Makeover. Terri and the team were drafted in by people all over the UK who want to surprise loved ones by transforming their homes with new décor or design ideas.

In 2005, she joined the cast of Grange Hill, playing the part of school teacher, Miss Adams. In June, 2006, Terri helped ITV Play launch a new show: Rovers Return Quiz Night. She was one of the main presenters on the programme, alongside Paul Hendy.

In 2003, she briefly returned to Hollyoaks and also became a regular presenter on the ITV1 hit programme Loose Women enjoying two years of celebrity interviews and topical debates.

Terri co-presented ‘Coronation Street/Emmerdale Confidential’ on ITV along with Jeremy Edwards (who played the husband of her character in Hollyoaks). Terri also made a guest appearance on popular comedy Bo’ Selecta in 2002.

Terri has reported for Richard and Judy (Channel Four), The Wright Stuff (Five) and with her friends from 5 Live. Terri has hosted the motor racing show, Racing Rivals for Channel Four and Bravo, which saw her travelling around the UK reporting pit side on all the drama from the SEAT Cupra Championship.

Terri’s ability to remain calm and in control has made her a most suitable choice for hosting live events too, such as the Smash Hits road shows. In addition, Terri has guest presented on Galaxy Radio, Radio City (Liverpool) and Hallam FM, proving she is adaptable and quick to learn.

Terri has two sisters and two brothers and married Sean Marley at Dalmeny Village Church, City of Edinburgh, on 5 September 2004. Sean and Terri have two beautiful boys: Caiden Ajay and Kylan.
