Will you help Terri to call a ban on sunbeds?

Did you know people who use sunbeds before the age of 35 have an 87% higher risk of getting skin cancer? No, neither did I! If I had, there’s no way I would have used a sunbeds never mind buying one and having it in my home for over a year – yes, I know, I was a very, very silly girl and I curse the day I started using the bloody things.

Every time I go to the hospital for my 3 monthly check up, I have a little silent prayer with the man upstairs. Its not just the obvious physical pain I feel every time I’m opened up, but the mental pain of knowing I could have prevented it is what spurs me on to try and encourage people to learn from my mistakes. I have had 2 melanomas and I’ve lost count of how many other moles I’ve had to have removed.
